Daytona Beach may not have a white Christmas, but we certainly have the spirit of the holidays, and at no place in our beloved city is that more evident than at the Daytona International Speedway and its 8th annual presentation of the Magic of Lights 2024, presented by Westgate Resorts.

Treat yourself and your family to about a 3 mile total drive (at 10 mph), through a presentation of themed lighted displays and several tunnels of lights. Don't forget to tune your car radio to 107.FM to enjoy a variety of holiday carols and songs which can't help but enhance your holiday experience. As you enter the dark bowels under the speedway stands, the first theme is the "12 Days of Christmas" with each numbered day having its own display of lights. From there you'll see a variety of other holiday displays such as the Three Kings, the Manger, Hannukah and Kwanzaa, as well as plenty of Santa Claus vignettes. From there you'll see such favorites as Barbie, Bigfoot, and a Prehistoric Christmas.

Just before the final tunnel of lights is a parking area, with more themed light displays, and a number of concession stands, and plush souvenirs.

A bit of advice my friends, buy your tickets online to save big time over the gate price, click here for more information and to buy your tickets, which are sold by the carload. But don't wait too long, the last night is Saturday, January 4th. Happy Holidays!
